Exams!

Time flies, be it in enjoyment or in sorrow! Since it is now going to be the end of the year, it means finals are approaching, fast! SAVE ME!><

I gotta thank XXXX for making me into a better person than before, because if I were to be the same person before I entered my college, I think my mood now will be so suck-ish. WHY?! Easeh. Exams are here!! This means people are now moody, feelings, emotion etc is like a super long and freaky roller coaster ride.
I thought I won't be experiencing situations and conditions with incredibly moody people now, but OMG was I so super wrong about it. People are like, Hey how are you? to Leave me alone! kind of thing in just nano seconds== its so frustrating.

Luckily I can control my emotions better, or not I think I can't concentrate on my studies, AT ALL>< why la why am I always surrounded by people soooo like me==

College life

As you all know, I have already started my college life, like not so long ago. Fine, it has been 2 months already. So far I can adapt to the environment and get to meet, well, different kinds of people =D

However, exams are just around the corner!! So sad that I am about to reach that corner, like soon! Ok fine, I am exaggerating but whatever. Studying the crap out of me recently. Oh with all the hydrogen bonds and dipole-dipole bonding is enough to keep me blur-rified (is this even a word?== yeah i made it up LOL) and with all the sickening formulas to remember in physics and the thought of me not knowing how to use them is soooo memekcekkan (yeah another word i created>< yay~the creative me)

BUT THEN!! I need to do well... so.. stress pressure and stress AND pressure all over again! Oh Lord, please give me the strength to carry on this torture and EXCEL in them!!

You know, I know you don't know, people are getting more and more weird around me and I actually mean that!! >< how freaky can they get with their minds bursting with exaggerated thoughts and who the heck do you think I am?! Do I look like someone that will simply accept anyone to be my boyfriend?! Come on la you people!! Give me some credit! My FUTURE BOYFRIEND and/or FUTURE HUSBAND must have a certain standard and class okay== its not like anyone who is anyone that can catch my eye. For pete's sake I wear specs! Some things can be reflected back to you before it even enters my eyes, well unless you are one in a million who actually stands out. pfft

Yeah, back to slavery =x
and good luck to those college friends on our oncoming exams!! may we pass with excellent grades and are still in the same class the next sem~! oh gosh, I really hate introducing myself again you know ><

Melbourne!!

3/4/2011
On this day, I was fated to board the plane that will lead me to Melbourne, Australia which is situated south east of Malaysia. I was bursting with much enthusiasm and nervousness. I was enthusiastic as I finally get to go to Melbourne and explore its beauty. I was nervous, because like every first-time-travelling-alone people, I was nervous I get into the wrong plane or anything! But luckily I didn't. Mainly it was because my sister's friend, Janice, is travelling with me in the same plane, though not sitting together =D

Me and mum went to Kuala Lumpur at 9am in the morning on that day along with my parents' friend who was also travelling there with his family as he wanted to drop his son off at Taylors Lakeside Campus (do note that I am telling this with much envy, jealousy, as well as admiration as I wanted to study ever since I first stepped foot there, but due to some circumstances I can't ><). Anyway, he dropped us at Sunway Pyramid where me and my mum waited for my uncle to pick us up to go to my aunt's house. I can just say that I took a nap in that amazingly-not hot weather after having lunch and having an informal lesson on China's history and woke up in sweat.

Later, we went to 1U to pick up our dinner and also to buy some buns for me to eat on the plane. We had a quick but delicious dinner, which included rice, vegetables, pork and tofu =D I went to bathe later to get rid of that already-dried-up-but-still-reproducing-some-more sweat. After that, I double checked my important stuff, such as passport and such. When I was finally done, I went downstairs to wait for others to get ready. My cousin chose this time to come back along with her newly bought iPad, and so, being the typical suagu me, I requested for her to let me use it. I can just say that, to those who are just so touch screen maniac, you would love to have an iPad of your own, or not an iPhone! But being just a beginner, I could live without those! =D

So, after delaying for a few minutes, the whole gang which included me (of course), mum, aunt, uncle and cousin finally head off to LCCT. Along the way, mum talked about how useful iPhone is with my cousin, she even tell her how to download stuff and all. Shocking!! xD But then, mum admitted that she discovered lots of stuff by mistake. hahahaa!!!

When we finally reached the airport, I straightaway went to check in my flight, as I was checking in, my mum talked to Janice and telling her all those what mums will say when their daughters will be travelling along with someone they will know. Later we settled down at The Chocolate Lounge where I had a very nice yet super expensive chocolate drink, it cost us RM14.90. hmm...

I finally went to check in later with Janice, I seemed a little sad that time and I do not know why! When we were lining up to board the plane, we spotted a very nice looking ang moh xD I mean, we are girls and nothing can change the fact that 99.99% girls like to look at handsome guys, am I right? =)) Well, all in all, the whole journey was 99% uncomfortable. Why?? Because...
(I will list out both good and bad things, but as you read, you will find out that they are mainly bad things)

1) When we were about to take off as scheduled, 10.30pm, the pilot announced that a stupid plane was blocking the way, so the flight was delayed for 45 minutes.
2) I was sitting in the centre row, I was sitting at the right side, centre remained empty while on the left side, sat a big sized woman! She practically sat on two seats, I am serious!!!!
3) Since it was a night flight, we were supposed to sleep in the plane. I didn't get to really sleep, and only a 15 minute snooze on and off! If the woman there did not occupy 2 seats, I would take the handrest up and lie on the 2 seats! As I was struggling to find a comfortable position, my whole body feels so........ stiff and painful. Aikz~ So at 4am, I finally stopped trying to sleep. Instead, I started observing how the ang mohs sleep. Mereka ni, banyak pattern bila tidur. haha! Super funny!! (I would like to thank mum for changing my seat, because the section I was in was practically filled with ang mohs! xD)
4) The stupid toilet== I asked a lady on how to flush. So I managed to flush the toilet properly without setting the siren off after many failed attempts of pushing the flush button. Later, I stood there stunned, as I do not have an amoeba-sized idea on how to use the tap! After experimenting with the two taps there, suddenly a blob of fragrant liquid dropped to my hand, after further investigation, I realised that it was soap. Okay then, I was in deep shit trouble as how am I going to wash it off when I do not know how to work the freaking tap?! But then, THANKFULLY, I successfully turned it on as I found out how to use it by accident xD
5) When we were reaching, the pilot made an important announcement, THE AIRPORT AT MELBOURNE IS CONGESTED SO WE MAY NEED TO WAIT FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES. Well guess what? We were circulating the air for 1 hour! As we were circulation the air, I looked in front and saw an interesting scenario. A passenger was asking this air stewardess on what is delaying our touch down. It looked as if the guy was trying to persuade her to kiss him and she was backing off. Yes, I know I have a very vivid imagination =D I just hope that there were no more delays, but the question is, is there?
6) Well, the answer is YES! When we finally landed, another announcement was made. A plane was blocking our way, so we need to wait again== How many delays that I had already experienced in just one trip?! 3! ><

Later, me and Janice went to meet up with her boyfriend at Southern Cross using the Skybus from the airport and us 3 (yes, including me the person that is way brighter than that massive fire ball in the centre of the universe) went for a walk and for lunch (Japanese food =D) after dumping our bags at his apartment for the time being, well at least this applied to me. So at about 3pm, we finally went to Caufield as to let me rest before going out for dinner with them later at night. Can I just say that the weather in Australia is simply pleasant? Its like being in a refrigerator! At night, we went for some Korean food and later to a show, Just Go With It. The cinema is completely stunning. The room is just too big! There were curtains covering the screen and when the show stars the curtains will move apart, it was just like being in a concert! How cool is that? Anyway, the show was just hilariously stupid xD So after all that, we went back home and sleep.

The next day, we woke up late. hehe!! We had brunch, and set off to my sister's uni, Monash University, as my sister was attending lectures, I was at the computer room using her laptop! After her lectures, we went for Chinese food =D and then went to do some mini grocery shopping, which will be continued tomorrow xD We went back home, as I was still hungry, I ate maggi that was in a cup, later made myself a huge cup of milo and ate biscuits and cereal with it xD But now, my mouth is still craving for food. HOW?! haha! better head off to bed then~ as it is now 12am here and I am sleepy now @@
I know there aren't any pictures as I hardly take, I beg for forgiveness about that though =D

Before I sleep, I would like to emphasize, and I really mean to EMPHASIZE, that I just simply love the weather here even though I been here for 2 days only <3
Night =D

Braces Time!

On this wonderful (not!) Thursday (3/3/11), I left for Melacca in the morning. Why, you will ask, it's simply because I need to have my braces put on!!

In the morning when I was still sleeping like a log, my mother knocked on the door claiming that it was quite late and I need to get up. I had to admit, I totally forgotten about this appointment, it must be due to an incident that happened not to long ago which I refused to share it (after all, it's my own privacy! =D)

We (mum and I) started our journey at 9am, reached at 10.45am. As the appointment was at 11.30am, we were in a desperate mood as we need to find parking ticket, FAST!! So after all the rushing, we walked to Mahkota Medical Centre to register me.

While waiting for my turn, I was having a nervous breakdown.
Okay, I know I looked like crap, but whatever. So freaking nervous back then!

But the procedure wasn't as painful as I imagined, in fact, painless! The dentist started off by scaling my teeth, as I was afraid of what I will be seeing, I closed my eyes. Then, the dentist was doing something to my teeth, which I found out later that she was gluing (??) those metal thingy which I forgot what is the name onto my teeth. When I finally opened my eyes, guess what I saw? Wire!! I freaked out instantly! But as I said, painless!

After everything is done, mum and I walked over to Mahkota Parade for lunch. We passed by Parkson, and something interesting happened there =D

I was having some 'unresolved problems' with my new shoes, so much that my little toes hurt. I was practically limping all the way when I saw it. A F. Timber bag with a price tag on it. Imagine my shock when I read 4957. I was so stunned that I stood there, rooted to the ground. After checking the tag only do I found out that it wrote ATP (or something like that) 4957== My mum, on the other hand, who was walking in front did a mini u-turn to find out what was going on.

She touched the bag and said the material was quite good. So after searching high and low (on the racks), we managed to find one that is big enough for college use, I am going to use it now anyway xD
Ta-daa!!!! Nice and big =D
When I was having lunch at the food court, I heard a crack sound upon my first spoonful of food. After undergoing further investigation, a metal piece went lose, SO!! I need to go back to the clinic and get it glued back. This time, it was VERY FREAKING painful, I know I am exaggerating, but still, it was painful and I wasn't expecting any of that!

So here is a picture of me with braces~~Haha, shy la~~ suddenly see me with braces, I think it will be very hard to get used to it =S

Anyway~I am going to live on porridge and oats now =S

Wish me luck!! <3

Things I Never Knew Of, Until Now

There were many things that I thought I would never experience at such an early age, but as it is, I experienced it already. Well, maybe to others these aren't such a big deal, but to people like me, it actually made me feel like I can achieve something that I never dreamed off!

So, things that I never knew of, or in other words experienced of, I felt it now.. Trust me, it is truly a nice feeling once you felt it =D they are feelings that even words can't describe them, well, at least for me! xD

I never knew how bad I would feel when I am watching my love ones who practically had to 'slave' at a job which I can't help out at all!
I never knew that, when I help out, trying to lighten the burden they are having, would make me feel so happy, made me feel that I am after all not a failure.
I never felt so blessed and protected by other people in my entire life before.
And, I never felt so happy after seeing others smiling at me when I offer to work for them, even if it is just a few hours!

In this short period of time I get to see the world, although partially. It is an eye opener for me, I get to see a very different side of the world, which I had to say that is occuring right here in my hometown, hmm.... =D

Work!!

After leading a good life for 17 years, I finally have a chance to work! And yes, its in a pharmacy!! Though I am a bit nervous about what the job offers me, nonetheless, I am still pretty excited about it =D Imagine me not working for the past 17 years! How lame can I get?! *tsk tsk*

I told Alvin about my work, and he immediately started smirking. Upon asking the reason why, he told me, are you sure you can get up? I could have kicked him right on the spot right there and then. Okay, I admit there may be a bit of a problem for me to get up that early, but must he react like that? *cries* Anyhow, just now he told me, if I am up to it, there is a job for me. A translating job, which is to translate from english to malay. And it is RM12 per piece. Ha!!

Before he fetched me home, he said, if possible, I can help him with his work in his shop during Chinese New Year. And since he said if sincerity is present, even if I work for 1 or 2 hours, it is also fine with him. Since he helped me a lot for the past few years, I think I will help him, if it is okay with my parents =D

Okay, back to the topic! I am supposed to work from the 15th to the 31st of January, to see if I can cope with the job. If I can, I will continue my work at the pharmacy. If no, I won't continue my work there. I just hope I can cope with it, seeing I am quite interested in medicine. But that doesn't mean I want to study medicine, I want to study pharmacy =D

I will update my blog every now and then, til then...ciao~~
